What to check first
Locate and photograph the source of the water and all affected areas, both inside and outside. Visual documentation helps support your insurance claim.
Records and temporary repairs
Keep receipts and work orders for any temporary repairs you make to prevent further damage. These records are important to include with your claim to show mitigation efforts.
Review your policy
Before contacting a public adjuster, review your policy for any applicable exclusions or deductibles that may affect water damage coverage.
Free initial evaluation
We offer a free initial evaluation to review whether your claim is properly documented and what steps to take next. Call or write to schedule a phone, Zoom, or property visit: 305-394-8090 • claims@ricardopa.com
General information only, based on Florida law at the date shown. It is not legal advice, and initial guidance does not replace an evaluation by a licensed public adjuster.
