Legal notices subject to final review
Website & Service Terms
Draft for local review. These website terms are not a public adjuster engagement contract. Final wording must be reviewed before publication.
1. About these terms
These terms explain the use of the Ricardo Public Adjusters Corp. website and the initial consultation process. Any professional representation is governed by a separate written public adjuster contract and applicable law. These website terms do not replace that contract or reduce any rights available to you under law.
2. Free initial evaluation
The initial evaluation is free and does not require you to hire RicardoPA. It is an opportunity to discuss the reported damage, review the information you choose to provide, and consider possible next steps. It is not a binding coverage decision, a completed claim adjustment, or a promise that a case will be accepted. The availability of an on-site visit is arranged individually.
3. Consultations and appointments
Consultations are offered by phone or Zoom. Visits to the client's home are available by appointment. We assist residential and commercial property owners. Our published address is for correspondence; we do not receive clients at that address. A requested appointment is confirmed directly with our team.
The availability of a digital assistant or contact channel does not guarantee an immediate response from a public adjuster or an immediate property visit.
4. Starting professional representation
Browsing the website, using the assistant, requesting an evaluation, or sending information does not by itself retain RicardoPA or authorize the filing of an insurance claim. Professional representation begins after the applicable written agreement has been completed and accepted by the parties. That agreement identifies the scope of the work and the parties' responsibilities.
5. Fees and expenses
Any fee for professional representation, how it is calculated, and any expenses for which you may be responsible will be explained in writing before you agree to the service. Fees are subject to the applicable law and the signed agreement. A free initial evaluation does not mean that all subsequent professional services are free. Nothing on this website authorizes a charge by itself.
6. Individual circumstances and outcomes
Each claim depends on its facts, documentation, policy terms and applicable law. RicardoPA does not guarantee that an insurer will provide coverage, approve or reopen a claim, increase a payment, or resolve a claim within a particular period. Any examples or customer reviews describe individual experiences and do not predict another client's result.
7. Information and claim deadlines
Please provide accurate information and identify any notices or deadlines you have received. A website inquiry or consultation request does not notify your insurer, file a claim, or extend any deadline. Until representation is confirmed, continue to attend to your existing policy obligations and seek timely professional assistance when needed.
8. Website assistant and professional advice
The website assistant is an automated tool that may use artificial intelligence. Its responses are general information, may contain errors, and do not evaluate your insurance policy or determine coverage. The assistant does not submit an insurance claim, book an appointment, or establish professional representation. If you ask to be contacted, it forwards the details you confirm to our team so a public adjuster can follow up. Public adjusting information is not legal advice. In an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
9. Cancellation and statutory rights
Your applicable cancellation rights and the required notices must be stated in the separate public adjuster contract. These website terms do not shorten cancellation periods, waive statutory rights, or change the procedures in that contract. Contact RicardoPA using the details below for questions about an appointment or an existing engagement, and follow any formal notice requirements applicable to your contract.
10. Evaluation form and privacy
The evaluation form sends the details you enter to our team through our customer management system, only after you give permission to be contacted about your request. That permission covers calls, texts and emails about the request; it is not a marketing subscription. Submitting the form does not file a claim, book an appointment or retain the firm. The Privacy Notice explains how that information is handled and the distinction between form entries and information you choose to share through external contact links.
11. Images, reviews and accessibility
Illustrative images are labeled, including images created with AI. They do not document a particular client's claim or outcome. Reviews shown on the site are selected excerpts; Spanish translations are identified and links to the original reviews are provided. These examples do not promise a result for another claim.
If you have difficulty accessing information or using the website, contact the team by phone or email for assistance with the information you need.
